Job Title: Copywriter II





Reports To: Senior Manager - Change Management and Communications





Summary:


The Copywriter II is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to support technology change initiatives. This role will be responsible for sending out emails, training Power Up and Mini Power Up courses, and working with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to new technologies.




Responsibilities:


Develop and execute communication plans for technology change initiatives.

Work with stakeholders to identify communication needs and develop targeted messages.

Create and distribute communication materials, such as emails, newsletters, and presentations.

Manage the Technology Communications website and social media and slack channels (#the-working-tools, #help-vzgpt, etc.).

Train Power Up and Mini Power Up courses.

Track and measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.



Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in communications, preferably in a technology setting.

Experience with email marketing, social media, and content development.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Desired Skills:


Experience with being a trainer and facilitator for technology courses (e.g. Slack, Google Workspace, Gemini, VZGPT).

Knowledge of technology trends and best practices.

Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Education/Certifications:


Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
