Job Description:


Our ecommerce client is seeking a Senior Product Manager to enhance their category-based browsing experience. This role is crucial in optimizing the platform for external search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo, and driving significant traffic to category pages. As a key team member, you will manage specific product components from roadmap planning to execution, evaluation, and iteration. You will work closely with engineers, business stakeholders, analysts, researchers, and designers to identify customer needs, develop strategies, and test solutions.


Responsibilities:

• Drive the roadmap and execution for key products within the category page experience.


• Analyze requirements from multiple business verticals and develop a strategy for shared horizontal solutions.


• Present quarterly and annual plans to senior leadership.


• Perform competitive analysis and market research.


• Gather and document product requirements.


• Manage an engineering backlog.


• Conduct A/B tests, analyze and report on results with recommended actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.


• 5+ years of experience in Product Management.


• Strong technical aptitude, business acumen, and design sensibilities.


• Experience coordinating a team of engineers.


• Experience with A/B quantitative testing.


• Data-driven and results-oriented decision-making.


• Proven track record of product execution and delivery.


• Experience working with user experience design and research.


• Effective written and oral communication skills.


• Comfortable working in large, matrixed organizations.


• Experience with e-commerce or other consumer-facing products preferred.
