About Us:

The Expenditure Management Accountant II role is an opportunity for a service minded individual to support our branch teams by ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient payment & allocation of our firm's branch expenses. Our team's goal is to increase the amount of time available for our branch teams to serve clients by eliminating this administrative burden. We have a close-knit team that works collaboratively to meet the variable volume and demands of our deadline driven work. We have built and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders like Accounts Payable, Branch Real Estate, our Digital teams, as well as outsourced vendor support teams to deliver superior results.

What You'll Do:

•    Develop business relationships throughout many areas of the division and the firm

•    Develop and maintain relationships with outsourced accounts payable vendors to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and accountability for results

•    Document and monitor business processes

•    Participate in cross-functional teams responsible for implementing the division's overall business objectives

•    Analyze and inform leader of the financial impact of potential business decisions 

•    Preparation of management reports

•    Recognize and communicate issues to direct leader What you'll need:


  • 2-3 years of experience 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or accounting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, SharePoint, Outlook)

  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with an ability to retrieve and analyze data from multiple sources

  • General knowledge of accounting practices and principles

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Please note: Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday. We are seeking candidates who are capable of working onsite from the St. Louis, MO home office for this role.
