ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The position incumbent is expected to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities of the position with reasonable accommodation.


  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with equipment and machinery.

  • Complete facilities related and building engineering type work related Work Order requests for all Trellis team members\contractors.

  • Perform, initiate, schedule, maintain, and supply what is requested to accomplish various building related repairs, room arrangement, training and equipment needs, etc.

  • Perform routine maintenance on facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

  • Perform repairs and modifications to facilities as needed.

  • Ensure that all maintenance is completed in a safe and timely manner.

  • Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.

  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in any system or equipment and repair or replace them as needed.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including logs, reports, and maintenance schedules.

  • Conduct general upkeep procedures, including landscaping, removal of trash and debris, painting, and carpentry.

  • Work with vendors for maintenance and repairs.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

  • Provide periodic on-call support.

  • Participates in training and other learning opportunities to ensure compliance and expand knowledge of company, position, and process

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES


  • Must possess some basic building maintenance (painting, patching, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire and life safety systems)/operational skills.

  • Ability to change out light ballasts

  • Must be willing to independently troubleshoot building related problems.

  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.

  • Experience with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.

  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods 4 hours or more.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • SMT certification preferred.

  • Technical certification in maintenance, mechanical, or electrical fields preferred.

Experience

Required:

  • Two (2) years' experience in maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS


  • Comfortable working in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

  • Occasionally must move about inside the office.

  • Repetitive motion. Regularly operates a computer, phone, and general office equipment.

  • Regularly required to handle, feel, grasp objects and reach across a work area.

  • Regularly communicates with other employees and on the phone, virtually, or in person with clients. Regularly converses with internal and external contacts.

  • Visual acuity. Regularly must have close visual acuity to view and enter information into computer and software systems, analyze data, develop presentations and reports, and other materials.

  • Mental focus. Requires worker to maintain focus and exchange detailed and accurate information through oral and written communication.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work will be in an office with a surrounding small cubicle environment.

  • Office work environment is climate controlled with no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
