Location: Columbia, Missouri





Job Description:

As a Technology Asset Analyst, you will work within the Technology Asset Management team to review and analyze VU's hardware and/or software assets. You are responsible for tracking and monitoring IT asset data while seeking efficiencies and overall quality of the asset inventory. You will be responsible for a specific area of asset management which may include one of the following:


  • Purchasing and ingress and egress of assets


  • Inventory control and lifecycle management


  • Development and delivery of inventory


  • Warehouse and catalog management




Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:


  • Analyze data and develop appropriate metrics and reporting to support overall asset management, compliance, and recommendations for improvement. Keep stakeholders up to date with clear and accurate information and status of work.


  • Monitor, support, and maintain Technology asset inventory, ensuring quality and timely handling of assets.


  • Initiate knowledge sharing and actively participate in process improvements.


  • Facilitate the resolution of asset issues, involving other parties as needed.


  • Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.

  • Advanced knowledge in Excel or similar reporting tool


  • Accessibility to regular transportation
