Powder Coat Painter Lead $25-$30-hour DIRECT HIRE Worcester MA
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday - Friday
Duties:
Lead, train, and supervise a team of powder coat painters.
Prepare surfaces and apply powder coatings to various parts and materials.
Inspect products to ensure proper application of powder coatings, color consistency, and finish quality.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of spray equipment and booths.
Coordinate and prioritize workloads to meet production deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Monitor inventory of powder and supplies, placing orders as needed.
Troubleshoot issues related to equipment or coating processes and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
3-5 years of experience in powder coating, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of powder coating processes, equipment, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process-related issues.
Knowledge of safety regulations related to painting and coating.
