Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced CFO that comes from the non-profit and/or healthcare based field.
Salary: $195k-$275k

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Work closely with the CEO and executive team to support operational goals with financial insights.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, advising the leadership team on mitigating risks.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare financial regulations, including those related to Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing.
- Stay updated on healthcare laws, reimbursement practices, and changes in financial regulations impacting the organization.
Revenue Cycle Management:
- Lead and optimize revenue cycle management processes to maximize revenue generation and minimize delays in payments.
- Monitor billing, collections, and reimbursements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the annual budget, including capital and operational expenses.
- Provide financial forecasting to guide decision-making, assessing future financial performance and resource needs.
Cost Management and Efficiency:
- Drive initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining or improving patient care quality.
- Monitor expense trends and recommend cost-saving measures where appropriate.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and performance-oriented culture.
- Ensure that staff is adequately trained in financial and healthcare-specific systems and processes.
Capital Management and Fundraising:
- Manage the organization's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
- Evaluate and pursue opportunities for fundraising, grants, and partnerships to support organizational growth.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary financial spokesperson for the organization, engaging with investors, boards, and external partners.
- Present financial updates and strategic initiatives to the board of directors and stakeholders.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
- Assess and lead financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, and other partnerships within the healthcare sector.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required. MBA or CPA preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in healthcare.

- Expertise in healthcare finance, non-profit, and revenue cycle management.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on cost efficiency and profitability.
