POSITION OVERVIEW


The Senior Manager, Market Research & Analytics will be responsible for gathering, interpreting and analyzing primary and secondary market research and competitor intelligence (CI) and making strategic recommendations based on the insights generated about the company's products, customers, and competitive environment. Primarily responsible for developing, executing and disseminating insights that will help the commercial organization make informed strategic and tactical decisions.


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Plan and execute (1) primary market research with HCPs, caregivers and patients; and (2) secondary research focused on persistency, compliance or other information supporting the needs of the business.

    • Ensures market research studies deliver on objectives

    • Supervise delivery for quality and alignment with agreed upon terms

    • Manage numerous vendor relationships

    • Communicate findings and insights to internal stakeholders



  • Collaborate with Marketing to define HCP and Patient Journey's to identify key drivers of customers' decisions

  • Collaborates on the cross-functional development of the Situational Analysis, providing product and market level insights generated from a multitude of information sources

  • Participate in the cross-functional Competitive Intelligence team; monitor the landscape and contribute to interpretation of data and communication of insights

  • Partner within Commercial Operations and Sales/Marketing leadership to help define sales force and brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with brand strategies and sales tactics

  • Effectively collaborate with a wide array of internal stakeholders and customers on multiple projects simultaneously

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in a business or science field

  • 6-8 years of related experience conducting market research in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry required

    • Direct involvement or responsibility for designing, executing, and communicating findings of market research projects



  • Advanced quantitative/problem solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely

  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite applications

Pay Range$136,000—$163,675 USD
