Job Summary

Comcast's MachineQ builds, deploys and maintains Enterprise IoT networks and solutions globally. As a senior business analyst, you will support the day-to-day business and financial operations and help MachineQ grow and scale. You will also own and drive highly visible initiatives with internal and external stakeholders impacting process improvement, systems enhancements and scalability focused largely on the customer experience through the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
You will need to have an entrepreneurial spirit, being driven by making a difference in a fast-paced, less structured environment. This role is based in Philadelphia at the Comcast Technology Center with the MachineQ leadership and functional teams.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


  • Lead monthly business operations processes including sales operations, revenue recognition and reporting and other financial activities.

  • Support Business Development, Sales and Customer Success with on-going quoting and invoicing activity.

  • Reviews and analyzes ROI and other KPIs on various initiatives for senior leadership.

  • Bring ideas to the table to drive scalability and growth; initiate and lead multiple projects simultaneously that deliver improved operations and upgrade the customer experience, qualitatively and quantitatively.

  • Support financial and business operations, as assigned. Gather analysis and build associated reports in an insightful and aesthetic manner.

  • Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to flexibly work overtime, nights and weekends on a periodic basis.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years' proven experience in a sales, finance or business operations role or management consulting, preferably within a large enterprise environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or other relevant area of study.

  • Experience with Salesforce required; Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and other project management tools highly preferred.

  • Strong business and technology acumen, particularly on quote-to-cash lifecycle and supporting growth-oriented sales and operations teams.

  • High level of interest in enterprise technology and growth stage businesses is a must, prior direct experience with a big plus.

  • Extreme attention to detail, with an ability to absorb, analyze and coalesce data from disparate sources to drive critical business actions.

  • Prior experience independently scoping, project-managing, implementing and maintaining processes to streamline complex business and financial challenges.

  • Seasoned leadership and interpersonal skills, while being able to deliver results autonomously, individually and under a certain level of ambiguity.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with teammates, internal stakeholders, customers and vendors alike. Polished executive communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

  • Ability to actively listen and engage empathetically with customers and teammates, while always maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
