Are you passionate about healthcare administration and ensuring accurate medical recordkeeping? Midtown Oaks Post Acute is seeking a dynamic and organized Medical Records Director to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance.

Location: Midtown Oaks Post Acute, Sacramento, Ca
Experience: Previous experience in medical records management, familiarity with PCC preferred
Skills: Organization, multitasking, attention to detail
Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $25-$30/hr

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the management and maintenance of all medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient records.

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate efficient recordkeeping processes.

  • Implement and maintain electronic medical records systems, with preference given to experience with PCC.

  • Train and educate staff on proper medical record documentation procedures and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of medical records processes into patient care workflows.

  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to medical records management.

  • Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in medical records management, with preference given to candidates with experience in PCC.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or related field preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, with experience in PCC preferred.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to medical records management, including HIPAA regulations.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
