Team (Project) Introduction
The Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) project is a comprehensive initiative by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to enhance and secure its IT infrastructure. The project focuses on developing a unified security architecture that integrates new and emerging technologies, such as cloud computing, IoT, and AI, while ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards. The goal of the ESA project is to protect the VA's information systems and data, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information while supporting the VA's mission to provide secure, reliable services to Veterans.

As a Project Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical support, tracking project progress, and ensuring that project objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints. Responsibilities
Project Analysis and Scheduling: Provide in-depth project analysis, including the creation and management of detailed schedules for the ESA project, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met according to the VA's standards.
Cybersecurity Support: Utilize your proficiency in cybersecurity policy, threat mitigation, and tools like intrusion detection systems and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to support the ESA project's security objectives.
Project Reporting and Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project reports, schedules, and documentation templates, ensuring that all project data is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicated to stakeholders.
MS Suite Expertise: Leverage MS Suite tools, including MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams, and PowerPoint, to manage and document the ESA project, facilitating smooth collaboration and efficient project tracking.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in project analysis, scheduling, and reporting within IT or business environments.
Bachelor's degree in business or an IT discipline (or 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education).
Proficiency in cybersecurity policy, threat mitigation, and the use of cybersecurity tools, such as intrusion detection systems and Public Key Infrastructure.
Expertise in the use of MS Suite tools, including MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams, and PowerPoint.
Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed project reports, schedules, and documentation templates.
Skilled in managing document version control through platforms like SharePoint and Confluence. Experience in proofreading and editing technical documents for format, grammar, and style.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams to address action items and project requirements.
Ability to obtaining a Tier 4 / High Risk Public Trust background investigation
Advanced skills in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI for creating dynamic, interactive project dashboards.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $60,069.60 to $88,574.72.
