Job Description:



We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Sr. Business Intelligence Specialist. In this exciting new role, you will be tasked with laying a new business intelligence foundation in partnership with a high performing team of Product Managers within the Mortgage and Servicing & Payments Solutions segment of CoreLogic. You will use your analytics experience and extensive knowledge of reporting tools, technologies and approaches to develop BI dashboards and insightful reporting across the Enterprise. You will evolve the BI data platform to be able to meet the complex needs of the business and provide systems training and guidance on using the reports.

Requirements Gathering
: Drawing insights from data, preparing executive presentations, identifying inefficiencies and ensuring the data within the solutions is accurate.



Dashboard Development
: Designing dashboards within Tableau containing a variety of sales, account management, product, campaign, marketing, and financial KPIs, and predictive recommendations across levels from upper Executive to sales rep. Maintain and support existing metrics, KPIs, reports and dashboards.



Data acquisition
: Data for reports may be in different systems, which needs to be brought into a common database/warehouse.



Data integration
: Once the data is in a common database, the relationship between different sources needs to be defined and maintained for meaningful reporting through the use of joins, dataflows, etc..



Reports Development: Collaborates with end users to understand business requirements; develops analysis to map to existing data assets and develops a plan for report fulfillment through the use of automation where possible. Maintains reporting through product and platform changes. Provides accurate, insightful reporting - specifically reports on pipeline, operational productivity trends and product utilization trends.



Data Analytics: Compiles and analyzes data over time to forecast trends. Gathers and analyzes data to understand problems and address them proactively. Evaluates third-party data to determine best practices for company success. Performs ad hoc analysis as requested and generates business insights using a wide variety of data sources and BI tools. Seeks to identify new areas of opportunity to drive efficiencies and improvements within sales by analyzing technology, trends to understand gaps and working with sales leaders to understand their needs.



Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborates with teams and leaders from the Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Executive departments to set internal/external benchmarks, develop critical metrics/KPIs for new initiatives and various CRM/Financial objects, and recommend continuous improvement strategies using data-driven insights.


• Works with the Business Intelligence, Sales Operations, and Technology teams to understand existing internal tools and data warehouses and to identify data quality and reliability improvements and to establish best practices.


• Supports demand/inventory planning, sales and location forecasts, production planning, and predictive modeling efforts.


• Builds and maintains relationships with users to ensure adoption and buy-in of reporting solutions.



Job Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience with 3 years of utilizing tools to extract data points across systems and develop reports.


  • Ideal candidate must be able to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and report findings and make recommendations to company leadership.


  • Possess advanced experience with Business Intelligence/data warehousing life cycle, and advanced working knowledge of reporting and database concepts.


  • Experience with ML/AI and predictive analytics is a plus.


  • Proficiency with standard business and database software (MS Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Excel, SQL).


  • High proficiency in Tableau or another visualization tool, SQL, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to write queries in SQL Management Studio and develop insightful KPIs.


  • Excellent verbal, written and group communication skills; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences and be able to effectively present insights to internal customers and senior management.


  • Strong quantitative analysis capabilities.


  • A highly motivated team player with a "get-the-job-done" attitude, who is a self-starter and works well with cross functional teams is a must to be successful in this role.


  • A strong commitment to the Customer Experience is essential.

76,700 - 105,000 USD
