A well established and rapidly growing construction company located in Akron, OH is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team! This is an in-office position with tons of opportunity for growth! We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate to manage the preparation of financial accounting data across various areas. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively support the accounting team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with department heads to ensure accuracy in all financial reporting activities
Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in line with the monthly close schedule
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
0-2 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
