A company in north Austin is looking to bring on a Collections Assistant to join their team! This is a fully in-office role in 78757 and pay is $20/hr. This is a M-F long-term contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Responding promptly and professionally to member emails and voicemails.
Conducting courtesy phone calls to members who are between 10-29 days past due, with a focus on maintaining positive customer relationships.
Sending out various notices using provided templates, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in collections or a related field is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven customer service experience, with a focus on empathetic and effective communication.
Basic proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
Strong time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
