*What You Do.*  

*  Learn to lead Lean Six Sigma projects within the manufacturing environment

*  Assist with implementation of production plans and managing the completion of production plans

*  Apply good leadership techniques to achieve or exceed the expected level of quality and production output

*  Help with ideas to improve current production processes

*  Attend meetings with Supervisors and Managers to gain understanding of current projects/focuses

*  Participate in problem solving to overcome production related problems, material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and unavoidable delays where possible to reduce their impacts on operations

*  Collaborate with cross-functional departments to create recommendations and seek feedback to improve overall recommendations 

*Your Education and Qualifications.* 

* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, electromechanical engineering, industrial engineering, organizational leadership, or another related field, having completed junior year prior to start of the internship

* Passion for learning and growing in the manufacturing industry

*  Solid understanding of the fundamentals of manufacturing

*  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*  Ability to multi-task, collaborate, and take initiative

*  Strategic and analytical thinking

* Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) 

* Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations.
