Description:
Short & Sweet: This position requires the use of machines and hand tools to make components. This position will be responsible for rebuilds of pumps, gearboxes and motors, in addition to other parts as required. The ALN Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating new parts, rebuilding components and working in the plant as needed for repairs or new installations.
Schedule: 1st Shift, 8 hour shifts, M-F
*Holiday's may be required
Job Duties:
-Complete basic trainings and weekly status reporting on progress to be able to perform fabricating duties and rebuild activities.
-Developing a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications.
-Use hand tools and power tools, lathe, mill and brake to trim, cut and fit components into the final product.
-Rebuild pumps, gearboxes, motors and other parts as needed.
-Work in accordance with all safe work practices at all times.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
1 year Fabrication/Machinist experience
Must be able to read/write basic English and basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to autonomously read and interpret drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
Must be able to demonstrate technical aptitude for basic mechanical functions and tools.
Must be able to support 24/7/365 operation.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Experience running and maintaining a mill, lathe and brake press.
Experience rebuilding pumps, motors and gearboxes.
