RESPONSIBILITIES:

A client with Kforce is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join their team in Denver, CO in a hybrid working model.

Summary:
As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer, you will work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative products that change the way the world pays. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

About the team:
The triPOS Mobile team has a global membership from the US to the UK, to India fueled by driven individuals collaborating internally and externally to build payment enablement technologies for mobile device solutions. The triPOS Mobile team is part of a larger family of similar and complimentary product teams that together make truly great products and a wonderful environment in which to work and grow.

Essential Functions:


  • Designing, developing, and debugging mobile SDKs for Android or iOS platforms using mobile development environments such as Android Studio (Java and Kotlin) and Xcode (Objective-C and Swift)

  • Interacting with product owners and stakeholders to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications

  • Senior Mobile Software Engineer will be providing technical support and troubleshooting problems with existing solutions, including bugs or crashes

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, implement, test, and deploy new Android and iOS mobile features in a fast-paced environment

  • Writing code, completing programming, and performing testing and debugging of applications and/or SDKs

  • Writing unit and integration tests to increase reliability and quality of solutions

  • Completing documentation and procedures for installation, use, and maintenance

  • Participating actively in code reviews ensuring all code meets our high standards for quality, reliability, and performance







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required

  • Minimum 7 years of mobile development experience with minimum 5 years of Android/Java and/or iOS/Objective-C

  • Minimum 2 years of agile software development practices and peer/code reviews

  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills with minimal guidance

  • In-depth experience in designing, developing, testing (unit and integration) and deploying mobile solutions for Android and/or iOS

  • Self-driven and with ability to deliver on ambiguous technical challenges with incomplete data

  • Ability to connect technology with measurable business value

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently

  • Able to support all phases of the product development cycle including design, development, debugging, documentation, and validation

  • Payments and/or point-of-sale experience a plus

  • External device (e.g., USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet) integration a plus

  • Git, Rally, and Jira a plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
