RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Miami, FL that is seeking a BSA/AML Compliance Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews and dispositions customer screening hits related to OFAC and other internal/external watch lists


• The BSA/AML Compliance Analyst reviews and dispositions escalated transaction screening hits related to OFAC and other internal/external watch lists


• Reviews and dispositions complex Venezuela-related transactions including analyzing supporting documentation as well as documents rationale explaining why there is no sanctions concern


• Ensure compliance with OFAC sanctions and investigate possible hits and escalate for further review and approval to management, and/or escalates unusual activity for possible investigation and Suspicious Activity Reporting


• Assists with carrying out system/watch list controls such as, but not limited to, validating SDN updates were done appropriately, and generating metrics to assist with managing the OFAC Unit


• Reviews daily reconciliation reports and investigates any failures to ensure customers or transactions were screened by screening tool


• Reviews and dispositions customer and transaction screening hits for ad hoc screening projects


• Conducts reviews related to internal lists clean-up project


• Identifies and uses appropriate investigative and or analytical technologies to achieve maximum efficiencies and effectiveness


• The BSA/AML Compliance Analyst develops and participates in education, training, and awareness activities as part of the transaction monitoring program


• Maintains a good working relationship with and knowledge of business units and organizational groups within the bank

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-3 years of experience


• Extensive knowledge in BSA/AML Compliance and OFAC Sanctions


• Knowledge of Venezuelan-related sanctions


• Experience clearing sanctions alerts


• Detail-oriented, diligent, and able to work under pressure


• Analytical skills


• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills


• Bilingual in English/Spanish


• Prior experience analyzing and clearing Transactions Monitoring alerts is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
