People leader for Finance Solutions Team driving technology and solutions for Financial Planning and Analysis. The Director will set architectural vision for FP&A related solutions, migrations, and integrations, as well as oversee development delivery. This role serves as the IT leader for the human and technical resources required to lead, plan, direct and control activities for operationally excellent platforms. The Director will enable key business relationships within the Finance community and participate in crafting the long-term vision for McKesson's FP&A landscape.


This position reports to the Senior Director FP&A and Finance Transformation.



Key Accountabilities
:



  • Hires, manages, mentors, and develops leaders and teams. Ensures accountability of team leadership for team management and results.


  • Directly oversees development teams for all FP&A tools and processes.


  • Influences decision making with finance business partners to improve the financial results of the business.


  • Develops business cases and models benefits.


  • Prepares financial reports to communicate financial condition of a project.


  • Understands the ERP and FP&A solutions landscape and sets priorities that will reduce complexity and encourage standardization.


  • Identifies areas for continuous improvement of ongoing processes and develops revised toolkits accordingly.


  • Demonstrates professional decorum and discretion required with confidential topics.


  • Defines and ensures success metrics and sustainability roadmap.


  • Lead the work involved in evaluating, selecting, designing, and implementing new systems.


  • Ensures and drives compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.


  • Improve internal McKesson Technology processes related to efficiently creating user capabilities and systems meeting finance and accounting business needs.


  • Create and maintain relationships with outside vendors and consulting partners.


  • Manage relationships with a variety of finance leaders that rely on tour tools and processes.


  • Lead the team that enhances and maintains all finance and accounting functionality.


  • Work with the managers of other areas to create long-term plans that align with corporate strategy.





Minimum Requirements:


  • 12+ years of relative professional experience.


  • 4+ years of SDLC experience related specifically to financial applications.


  • 4+ years of experience in leadership, planning and communication roles.


  • Experience leading a hybrid onshore/ offshore development team.


  • Key experience with FP&A tools (e.g., SAP Business Planning & Consolidations, SAP Analytics Cloud, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management, or others) with strong preference for expertise in SAC.


  • Good knowledge of application and infrastructure security control mechanisms.


  • Previous experience delivering high-quality, reliable technology services.


  • Experience ensuring reliability of existing platforms while delivering enhancements to new business problems.

  • Have been successful in working across organizational boundaries, bringing together people with diverse perspectives and experience to find solutions to complex technical issues.





Education:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Our Base Pay Range for this position



$139,600 - $232,600
