The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 110,112.00 USD - 144,522.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. We are currently seeking an experienced creative operations project manager to join the LSB Creative Studio. The Creative Studio includes brand and digital designers, copywriters, industrial designers, production artists, and project managers. The focus of this position will be the management of the creative process and deliverables for mrs.meyers clean day and babyganics packaging design. You will be a core member of the Studio team managing each project from start to finish - from design briefings and concept exploration, to copy development, mechanical approval, product imagery, and toolkits. You will collaborate closely with the Creative Studio, Innovation, and Sales teams to bring flawlessly executed product innovations to life for our consumers.

This role is located in San Francisco, CA.
4 days a week in-office requirement, 1 day a week remote
This role is not offering relocation assistance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manages end-to-end creative process and deliverables for mrs.meyers and babyganics packaging innovation projects

  • Manages large scale portfolio packaging label changes (ex: change in regulatory language across 100+ labels)

  • Organizational partner to the creative director, designers, copywriter, and production artist ensuring projects are set up for success and managed throughout: this includes building project plans, developing timelines + milestones, resourcing, providing status updates and recaps, meeting coordination, consistent communicator with cross-functional teams, and asset delivery.

  • Holistic project planner, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, capacity constraints, timeline challenges, and meeting coordination.

  • Leverages LSB creative management platforms to build tasks, assign teams + timings, track risks, organize asset folders, and route artwork for cross-functional approvals.

  • Collaborates closely with Project Management team to ensure the creative team has sufficient time for creative and packaging design development, optimize processes, identify intersections with different projects, resource management, and pipeline planning

  • Owns the packaging content intake form (e.g., copy deck) for each product. Includes the development of the copy deck document, cross-functional distribution, tracking, follow-up, and hand-off to production

  • Liaises closely with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure labels are compliant

  • Manages the development of packaging comps for innovation and sales purposes. This includes briefing comp vendors, providing comp materials (artwork, packaging structures), quality control, budgeting, and timeline management

  • Supports the Creative Studio in the development of materials for key customer and internal sales meetings.

  • Briefs agency partners in the development of final product images that are leveraged for ecomm and DTC channels. This includes creating the brief, providing sample products as needed, developing timelines, and asset management

  • Liaises with Creative Operations Director to optimize processes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING


  • 5 + years creative project management or production experience at an agency or internal design studio

  • 5 + years experience developing project plans and creative workflows in project management software such as Microsoft Projects, Workfront, Asana.

  • 3 + years in CPG, packaging, and or print production management
