Perform essential functions of EVS Tech.Responsible for training EVS Floor Technicians to be compliant, efficient, and safe in all facets of floor care.Performs both routine and restorative floor care and maintenance throughout all hospital facilities, including hard surfaces and carpeting.Cleans and performs routine maintenance on floor equipment; requesting assistance from plant operations as needed.Operates all equipment with care and according to facility and manufacturers recommendations and safety standards.Maintains accurate floor care logs.Participates in departmental performance improvement initiatives.Professional and positive representative of the EVS department.Works with department director to plan floor care maintenance and projects.Practices critical thinking.Demonstrates personal accountability.Assist director with staff guidance, accountability and performance reviews.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
