Provide architectural design and support for industrial control systems (programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, drives, networks, and Supervisor Control and Data Acquisition). Train project and plant engineers and interact with the technical systems manager (TSM) and Information Systems and Services (IS&S) to align manufacturing systems with corporate initiatives, standards and policies. - Experience integrating robotic systems, or developing servo mechanisms or inspections systems
- Knowledge Oracle, A/S400, Ethernet/IP, Infinity QS, Statistical Process Control (SPC) software or applications, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)- Travel to manufacturing plants to train teams on automation specifications, review automation and control system design and evaluate and test new technology

- Develop, test, and document disaster recovery processes for all industrial control systems and ensure all service packs and patches are current

- Evaluate new technology and work with consultants on cost analysis and technical requirements
- Assist plants in determining requirements and assessing value of proposed services
- Provide status reports to management
- Maintain strong relationships between plants, divisions and the General Office
- Actively participate on audit and engineering sub-committees and attend department staff meetings
- Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems
