Position Summary
The Financial Analyst position for Securitas Technology is located in the Indianapolis, IN corporate office and is responsible for all FP&A functions including income statement reporting, variance analysis, KPI tracking, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and monthly business review presentations as well as assisting the accounting team with month end closing journal entries. The analyst team supports the entire business in both the U.S. and Canada including sales teams (order entry and CRM data reporting), operational teams (installation, service and monitoring), and SG&A.
Regular responsibilities include:
Monthly forecasting of the full P&L (revenue, COGS, SG&A) for specific departments assigned
Annual budgeting process for all P&L categories for specific departments assigned
Create slides for monthly and quarterly business reviews to summarize financial results, current forecast outlook, and KPI trends
Regular meetings with operational leaders to review results vs plan and current forecast outlook
Variance analysis to ensure results are accurately stated including explanations for any anomalies
Create reclassifying and/or correcting journal entries as needed to ensure that the P&L is accurately stated with specific sensitivity to proper department and branch coding
Investigate problems to determine underlying causes and work with other teams (including IT) to properly resolve
Assist with data conversion and IT system enhancements to support the integration of acquisitions.
Assist with future M&A deal analysis and due diligence.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or financerequired.
2-5 years of experience in FP&A
Experience in a corporate accounting role is aplus.
Must have sound analytical skills and strong communicationskills.
Must be able to prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines throughout themonth.
Advanced Excel skills are critical, along with proficiency in the rest of the MS Officesuite.
Additional system experience that will be beneficial: Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon), Salesforce (CRM), and Prophix (reporting and consolidation)
