Using data and insights, develop/oversee the strategic roadmap for Kroger s Natural and Organic strategy across Fresh and Center Store departments, identifying value-driven solutions to support the enterprise Merchandising, Category Management and Execution teams. Develop strategic objectives, metrics and targets supporting market share growth, sales and unit movement to elevate Kroger s Natural and Organic image and growth strategy. - 10+ years of experience in consumer products industries, leading category strategy and/or insights and analytics at the corporate level
- Strong analytical, project management and consulting skills
- Ability to inspire without authority and drive change in an environment ripe for disruption
- Knowledge of Category Management processes and CPG Industry trends
- Advanced understanding of consumer/shopper behavior and market research strategies
- Highly proficient PC skills including advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and other data analytics and insights tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision, including multi-divisional stakeholder initiatives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including oral, written and formal presentation; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior leaders and executives

Desired
- Bachelor's Degree business, marketing, finance, economics, statistics, or related field
- Any category manager experience- Drive decisions and influence the creation of strategic visioning, planning, and execution for the Natural and Organic initiative across store departments and support areas to improve customer experience
- Assist in strategic initiative development that impacts both short term quick wins and long-term business plans
- Research and evaluate existing merchandising, supply chain and operational practices; design and implement innovative solutions, and present recommendations to improve outcomes and achieve operational efficiencies
- Advise senior leaders and company executives by providing information to aid executive decision making related to strategy development and execution of the Natural and Organic strategic roadmap
- Provide analytic and professional leadership to Fresh team leaders and other relevant business owners on strategic visioning, strategy and business planning, and innovative problem solving related to Kroger s Fresh image
- Deliver a holistic view of the Natural and Organic customer across channels, departments, categories, Supply Chain and Operations to elevate natural and organic perception across targeted commodities and categories
- Align, assign, and manage the work of strategic team leaders, senior leaders, and other relevant business owners comprising a portfolio of several cross-functional projects representing all Kroger Natural and Organic business units
- Identify and oversee the implementation of innovative go to market merchandising strategies across all modalities engaging the supplier community, Our Brands, Fresh Kitchen, Fresh Innovations Center and other relevant stakeholders
- Track and report on program KPIs to ensure profitability goals are being met/surpassed
- Travel throughout the enterprise to support merchandising initiatives; travel to points of Natural and Organic supply and best in class Natural and Organic merchants
