RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Springfield, VA that is seeking a Test Automation Architect.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Automation Frameworks: Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery


• Identify Automation Opportunities: Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement through automation


• Develop Test Plans and Cases: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases


• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of automation processes


• Maintain Automation Systems: Implement and maintain automation systems to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency


• Evaluate New Technologies: Investigate and utilize new technologies to enhance the automation process


• Provide Training and Guidance: Train and guide team members on the use of automation tools and best practices


• Document Processes: Ensure all test procedures are documented to maintain replicability and compliance with standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, PMP, or AWS are a plus


• Experience: Proven experience in a test automation role, with a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit), scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity); Strong knowledge or Azure Portal and Azure DevOps ( Pipelines, Artifacts, Repos)


• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
