Director, BD Excellence Global Supply Chain position represents an extraordinary opportunity for a passionate, highly motivated, and positive individual to become a member of BD's global Operational Excellence (OPEX) community.
Reporting to the Global BD Excellence Senior Director the ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a culture of operational and customer excellence, implementing change, and driving Continuous Improvement across the network through BD Excellence, in an E2E perspective.
This strong operational excellence and continuous improvement identity will be created through the application of LEAN production and CI principles, methodologies, and associated tools, to ensure sustainable optimization of performance in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
BD Excellence Capability Building:
Develop and grow capabilities through BD Excellence system and components to establish the fundamentals of excellence in safety, quality, delivery and costs. Drive adoption and impact through training and deployment of progressively advanced component methodologies.
Ensure training, execution and appropriate resourcing for breakthrough Kaizen events.
Works closely with appropriate leaders (BU, OPEx, Supply Chain, Sites) to support the development and implementation of the improvement strategy for their BD Excellence Maturity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Facilitating cross-functional teams, analyzes processes, identifies inefficiencies, and develops solutions to streamline operations. Contributes to the E2E transformation of the company and is able to drive improvement across the value chain.
Drive collaboration to generate, sustain, and deliver a multi-year portfolio and optimization of losses. Meet or exceed KPIs goals by supporting Focused Improvement team projects for Lead Times, BO, OTIF and Costs.
Coach and guide leaders to ensure focus of resources and time toward shared goals.
Metrics and Reporting: helps designing and implementing metrics, dashboards, and systems for tracking and reporting on operational performance and improvement initiatives.
Change Management:
Leads change management to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems across all departments.
Challenge existing paradigms, encourage and promote internal and external benchmarking. Develop and grow zero loss mindset across critical areas to optimize safety, quality, delivery and cost.
