Your daily work may include, but is not limited to:



  • Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to support production schedules and customer demands.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.

  • Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and products, including managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.

  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruptions.

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall supply chain effectiveness.

  • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with aerospace industry regulations and standards, including quality assurance and safety protocols.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, production, and finance, to align supply chain activities with broader business objectives.

  • Other duties as assigned by.




Professional qualifications



  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Manager, Business Administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Masters degree preferred.

  • APICS or CSCP certification preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in in supply chain management within the aerospace industry.

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA with a deep understanding of its application in supply chain processes, preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading and delivering supply chain initiatives.

  • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

Compensation



$110,000 - $120,000 annually
