Your daily work may include, but is not limited to:
Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to support production schedules and customer demands.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and products, including managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruptions.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall supply chain effectiveness.
Ensure all supply chain activities comply with aerospace industry regulations and standards, including quality assurance and safety protocols.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, production, and finance, to align supply chain activities with broader business objectives.

Professional qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Manager, Business Administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Masters degree preferred.
APICS or CSCP certification preferred.
Minimum 10 years' experience in in supply chain management within the aerospace industry.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA with a deep understanding of its application in supply chain processes, preferred.
Personal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading and delivering supply chain initiatives.
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

Compensation
$110,000 - $120,000 annually
