About the Role: Join our dynamic team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects. Your role will be pivotal in driving our software development, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server/ETL and .NET application development.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of complex data solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and ETL processes, accounting for 70% of your role.
Develop and maintain web and console applications, contributing to 30% of .NET application development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
Utilize Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software in a timely manner.
Engage in Azure Cloud and Pivotal Cloud Foundry application development, along with configuration management.
Implement DevOps practices using tools like Jenkins, Harness, Urban Code Deploy, and Azure DevOps.
Manage code repositories with an understanding of GitHub.
Contribute to Identity and Access Management solutions (preferred).
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.
Extensive experience with .NET Framework, including C#, .NET 6, and .NET Framework 4.8.
Proficient in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) with at least 3 years of experience.
Expertise in SQL Server database programming, TSQL, query optimization, and crafting complex queries.
Familiarity with Agile practices and a history of working in Agile environments.
Experience in building web and console applications using .NET Framework or .NET Core.
Knowledge of Azure Cloud and Pivotal Cloud Foundry, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
Proficiency in DevOps and various build and deploy tools.
Understanding of GitHub for code repository management.
Experience with JIRA is beneficial.
Ability to work independently and document technical requirements effectively.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Work Environment: This position requires the ability to operate effectively in a virtual environment and collaborate across various time zones.
