Ultimate Staffing has partenered with an established cancer center in the Jupiter area. We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Oncology Surgical Coordinator for a temporary position lasting 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension. This role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule oncology-related surgeries and procedures
Serve as a primary liaison between patients, surgeons, and medical staff
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and available
Utilize Epic (or other EHR systems) to manage patient information, appointments, and surgical schedules
Assist with pre-operative and post-operative processes
Ensure seamless communication between oncology teams, insurance providers, and patients
Monitor patient care plans and provide administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in surgical coordination or related healthcare field, preferably within oncology
Strong familiarity with Epic or similar electronic medical record systems (highly desired)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-focused mindset
Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in a healthcare setting
