We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Lincoln Meadows Care Center. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This role requires the ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces according to established procedures and protocols.
Ensure all areas are free of dust, dirt, waste, and other contaminants.
Follow infection control guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and disposal of waste.
Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and towels in various locations throughout the facility.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
Assist with laundry duties as needed.
Respond promptly to resident and staff requests for housekeeping services.
Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
Comply with all safety, health, and sanitation standards.
Participate in ongoing training and adhere to the policies and procedures of the facility.
Maintain confidentiality of resident information and respect the dignity of residents.
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility, is a plus but not required.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Open availability, including the ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
