General Overview

The Patient Engagement and Patient Family Relations Program Manager works closely with the Chief Patient Experience Officer and the Senior Director, Patient and Family Relations to develop and manage projects relating to patient engagement strategy, measurement, and policy.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• With support from the Chief Patient Experience Officer and the Senior Director, Patient and Family Relations, the Patient Engagement Program Manager supports strategy, measurement, and policy and relating to patient engagement.
• Provides effective project management support for Patient and Family Relations strategic initiatives.
• Crafts and implements framework supporting patient and family relations.
• Optimally project manages coordination of in-scope patient facing communications.
• Collaborates closely with patient experience measurement and improvement team to support existing framework and processes related to patient clinical content communication.
• Collaborates closely with colleagues across Mass General Brigham including but not limited to Marketing and Communications to coordinate patient engagement efforts and communications. Will partner and maintain close alignment with the Enterprise External Communication team and their standards of practice.
• Other duties as assigned



Qualifications

Qualifications



• Advanced project management skills/expertise, including large, complex projects
• Familiar with health literacy best practices and/or patient-centered communications, i.e. edit for reading level
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required
• 2+ years of proven project management skills required
• 3 to 5 years prior experience in field related as project manager preferred
• Experience related to patient communications and content development
• Strong interpersonal skills to enable collaboration across the Mass General Brigham enterprise


• A combination of education and experience may be considered in place of requirements
