Description: Our client is currently seeking a Tax Professional This position is mostly remote but requires occasional onsite work in Malvern, PA - MUST be local Ongoing W2 contract.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Assisting with all US domestic and international income tax matters, including data gathering, research and analysis of applicable tax laws, and ensuring company compliance with tax reporting/filing requirements
Prepare and submit income tax provision
Prepare and analyze general ledger tax account reconciliations
Ability to assist in the preparation of complex federal, state and local income/franchise tax returns, including quarterly estimated tax payments
Build and maintain customer relations and provide support to various Business units and other departments across the company
Ability to improve existing processes and approaches
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams for meetings and collaboration
Willingness to learn and ask questions
Ability to work well in a team and independently Tax provision Compliance work
Tax technologies beyond Excel (e.g., corporate tax software, Alteryx, Power BI) plus to have this experience.
Degreed accountant with a minimum of three years of public accounting income tax experience at a mid to large public accounting firm.
Strong analytical and research skills
Proven written and verbal communication skills to clearly communicate and present complex concepts or issues
Proficiency with tax compliance and provision software; preferably Corptax
The ability to work under tight timelines and the capability to make decisions quickly and with accuracy
Must be able to prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work across all levels of management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience and familiarity with SAP, Power BI and Alteryx
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Master's degree in taxation a plus
