Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial transactions and ensure compliance with construction accounting principles.
Manage project-related accounting tasks, including job costing, billing, and tracking expenditures.
WIP and inventory experience is required.
Prepare and analyze financial reports specific to ongoing construction projects.
Assist in budget creation and forecast future project costs.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and manage accounts payable/receivable.
Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal financial regulations.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Prepare year-end financial reports and assist with audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of job costing, budgeting, and project financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks Online.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
CPA certification is a plus but not required.
Pay: $30 - $37 per hr.
