RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Associate Operations Engineer in Tukwila, WA.

Key Tasks:

• Associate Operations Engineer will deploy basic products and services with a security first mindset; Includes security considerations in all updates and changes


• Attend conferences, training, and communities of practice to stay aligned with organizational and industry patterns


• Maintain and document product telemetry, and analyze data, to improve product health and operational efficiency


• As an Associate Operations Engineer, you will maintain architecture and process documentation and speak at a high level about how products and services are built and operate


• Manage and automate basic services and process using knowledge of scripting languages and ancillary products


• Deliver solutions that require little rework, directly contribute to team success, and satisfy customer and business needs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent related experience required


• Minimum 1 year of related functional experience required


• Previous experience in one or more of the following disciplines required: Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Unified Communications, Virtualization, Web and Application Development, Infrastructure Services: Enterprise Maintenance and Support, Infrastructure Support, Desktop and Client Support required


• Working knowledge configuring and maintaining production systems in a team environment required


• Technical focus in two or more of the following disciplines preferred: Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS, SaaS, Hypervisor, Enterprise SANs, Backups, Microsoft M365, Operating Systems, Hardware Solutions, Infrastructure-as-Code, or other modern enterprise infrastructure system


• Working knowledge of security concepts (e.g., Phishing, MFA, Firewalls) required


• Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate are required


• Ability to work in a hybrid team environment required


• Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required to/from company facilities


• Full time hours required, with additional hours as necessary; On-call support rotations to provide 24x7 coverage will be required


• Any certification in Microsoft and/or competing Cloud Technologies strongly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
