RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a System Architect in Dublin, CA.

Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity with a well-known retail client in the Bay Area. This architect would support - Safe Agile - a System Architect in Agile working alongside other System Architects. The ideal candidate would be a System Architect for a portion of the application they are building tracking for a multi-year roadmap.

Duties:

• System Architect will work with product owners, analyze the features the product owners recommend, putting together the necessary architecture that the dev team will use


• Be the bridge between product owner and dev team working on those features


• When tech Lead designs, this architect would also help on the Design Reviews


• As a System Architect, you will code review to be covered by Senior Engineers

REQUIREMENTS:

• DB: SQL & NoSQL Oracle/PL-SQL/Query Optimization (5 years) & Exposure to Cosmos-DB is excellent


• Microservices experience


• Retail experience


• Angular/Azure/Opensource/Spring/system-Architecture background


• App development background


• Latest version of Angular


• Cloud-native application architecture, event-driven/microservice architecture


• App/Integration and System Architect


• Java 1.8 and above, Spring Framework


• API (API Gateway: Mule Preferred)


• Excellent communication skills, expertise in writing POC codes, conducting code reviews, suggesting fixes, able to capture complex artifacts and documentation with minimal supervision


• Able to transition from Software development to technical architect and understand end to end


• Able to work and contribute cohesively and efficiently with a diverse team, onsite and offshore model

Nice to have:

• Architects with light Cloud/Opensource experience; No Enterprise Architects

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
