RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Project Manager/Delivery Manager to join our team in Maryland Heights, MO.

Summary:
This role is pivotal in enhancing our understanding of team throughput, improving performance metrics, and educating Scrum Masters on advanced practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Jira Expertise:


  • Utilize Jira to its fullest potential, including running JQL queries and analyzing data to extract actionable insights

  • Track and report on Jira metrics to assess and improve team performance and project delivery

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Use tools such as Tableau (or other data assessment tools) to visualize data, track performance, and identify trends

  • Analyze Jira data to understand ticket aging, defect trends, and the impact of team absences on velocity

  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement

Team Performance Improvement:

  • Demonstrate a track record of improving team performance through data-driven insights and metrics

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team throughput and address bottlenecks in the workflow

Scrum Master Education:

  • Actively educate and mentor Scrum Masters on advanced practices and data analysis techniques

  • Run day-to-day operations with the teams, providing guidance on best practices and helping them understand complex metrics

Throughput and Impact Analysis:

  • Investigate and address issues related to ticket aging, defect management, and impact analysis for team absences

  • Develop models to predict the impact of team dynamics on project velocity and deliver actionable recommendations







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role with a strong focus on Jira and data analysis

  • Deep familiarity with Jira, including running JQL statements and leveraging Jira data to drive team performance

  • Experience with Tableau is a significant advantage, but we are open to considering candidates with proficiency in other data assessment tools

  • Jira Expertise: Deep familiarity with Jira, including experience with JQL statements and data analysis

  • Data Tools: Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools is highly desirable; Alternatively, proficiency in other data assessment tools will be considered

  • Performance Metrics: Demonstrated ability to improve team performance through data-driven insights

  • Education and Mentoring: Experience in educating and mentoring Scrum Masters or similar roles

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master certifications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
