Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Leawood, KS that is seeking an Application Administrator responsible for implementing and supporting the architecture and design of the Enterprise Integration platform. Key duties include managing deployment, monitoring environments, and developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. The Application Administrator ensures adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, promotes code between environments, and contributes to the migration of applications to Azure Cloud Services while overseeing daily operations.

Responsibilities:


  • Administer applications within client's integration strategy, adhering to established architectures, standards, best practices, and processes

  • Deliver a robust, secure, and scalable integration environment using loosely coupled systems, standard protocols, and messaging technology

  • Ensure adherence to the SDLC process and manage code promotion between environments

  • Provide Tier 3 technical production support for end-user system issues

  • Automate and support workflows using Enterprise Service Orchestration & Scheduling tools

  • Monitor application and Infrastructure performance and conduct system logging using tools like New Relic, troubleshooting APIs as needed

  • Deploy and manage Infrastructure as a Code in Azure Cloud environments

  • Manage and support CI/CD pipeline deployments in production environments

  • Implement continuous integration and delivery using tools such as GitHub and Octopus

  • Automate manual tasks and processes using scripting languages and tools like PowerShell, Bicep, and YAML

  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server, IIS, and hosted applications

  • Perform configuration management using tools such as Puppet and Ansible

  • Participate in rotational 24x7 on-call support







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Journalism, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in technical/application support

  • 2+ years of experience in web/e-commerce support

  • 2+ years of experience with workflow and process automation

  • Experience with Windows Server, IIS, and hosted applications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to influence and work effectively within a project team and communicate with both individual contributors and management

  • Willingness to engage in self-learning, identify solutions to unknown issues, and stay updated with emerging technologies and trends

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, sort, and analyze data to develop logical conclusions

Nice to have:

  • Possess or has made progress toward receiving Web technology certification

  • Some experience with JavaScript and Node.js

  • Experience with Enterprise Applications; Azure Cloud, SharePoint, MIM (FIM), Automic (UC4) and Kubernetes

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker

  • Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring and system logging tools (e.g., New Relic), and API testing

  • Skills in automation and scripting in a DevOps role (e.g., PowerShell, Bicep, YAML)






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
