RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Manhattan, NYC that is seeking a UI Architect. Are you a seasoned frontend developer with a passion for architectural leadership and modern UI frameworks? We're looking for a Frontend UI Architect to drive the evolution of our web platforms, blending technical expertise with strategic vision.

Architectural Leadership:

• Assess and propose the target state architecture for current web frontends


• Develop strategies to enhance existing web platforms, focusing on reuse and scalability

Solution Design:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into innovative, practical technical solutions


• Ensure adherence to frontend best practices in design, development, and deployment

Team Collaboration & Leadership:

• Work with portfolio architects and developers to assess and define target state architecture across multiple portfolios


• Lead the technical direction and foster collaboration among development teams

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs, provide technical insights, and deliver exceptional solutions

Compliance & Security:

• Ensure solutions meet industry standards and internal security policies

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS


• Proficiency in at least two modern UI frameworks, with Vue and React preferred


• Solid knowledge of the Document Object Model (DOM) and Web APIs


• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms


• Experience with Node.js and NPM


• Familiarity with unit test frameworks like Jest

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with D3.js for data driven visualizations


• Knowledge of three major UI frameworks, including Vue, React, and Angular

Professional Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
