Plasma Spray Eng Mgr,
Surface Dynamics dba Lincotek Medical, Bartlett, TN. Direct engineering activities for Plasma Spray technologies and biomedical projects, mentor staff in coating processes and technologies, & manage staff improvement plans. Develop, implement and monitor team and individual goals and metrics. Continually improve documented process for Product Realization. Review, analyze, and offer Value Analysis/Value Engineering options to customer specs and reqts. Ensure Engineering dept's alignment with Production and Quality to ensure customers expectations, validation activities, and improvement plans. Fulfill qualification steps and timely provide final customer products within budget. Lead Root Cause Corrective Action activities. Min. Reqts: BS in Biomedical Eng, Materials Eng, Mech Eng, Robotic Eng, or closely related field of study, or foreign degree equiv. 4 yrs exp in job or in engineering and/or manufacturing in medical industry, including 3 yrs in one of these eng sub-fields: biomedical, robotics, or mechanical, 2 yrs reading, analyzing, and interpreting blueprints & specs, 1 yr working with ERP systems.
