Meet the team:



You will be part of the global corporate engineering team, tasked with end-to-end technical oversight of our suppliers, contract manufactures and automation houses. This crucial role supports Dexcom's thrilling growth in delivering essential, life-changing products to our valued customers. As part of this dynamic and highly effective team, you will collaborate closely across multiple functions, gaining broad exposure to our entire product life cycle.



Where you come in:



  • You will have technical, engineering oversight of the manufacturing of molded components, site and contract manufacturer (CM) automation equipment, and electronic systems and batteries across the entire product life cycle. This includes from design to qualification, on-market support, and end-of-life management.


  • You will supervise the development, construction, and implementation of new contract manufacturing molds and assembly equipment for new product introductions, ensuring manufacturing capacity readiness to meet growth targets and product mix requirements.


  • You will develop a global supplier manufacturing management strategy, providing localized support to oversee regional suppliers for our manufacturing sites.


  • You will implement on-market support initiatives, including a robust preventative maintenance management system, to maintain the yield, performance, and quality of products and subcomponents.


  • You will collaborate closely with the Purchasing and Quality organizations to establish a rigorous supplier selection process, ensuring timely launches and sustained performance at the optimal cost profile.


  • Your leadership will play a crucial role in fostering a flexible organizational structure capable of swiftly responding to evolving project and site requirements in alignment with our expanding global manufacturing network and product roadmap. You will lead efforts to enhance program execution, emphasizing right-first-time results, while optimizing resource utilization.


  • Your decisions will have a direct impact on the overall success of the business; any errors could lead to critical delays in schedules, product availability, and/or product performance.


  • You will plan and direct all aspects of the Supplies Manufacturing Management organization, including setting goals, establishing priorities, managing resources, developing concepts and approaches, reviewing project progress and results, and making management decisions.

Travel Required:



  • 15-25%





Experience and Education Requirements:



  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 17+ years of industry experience.


  • 13+ years of years of successful leadership experience in relevant industry.
