The University of South Alabama’s Providence Foundation is seeking to hire a Senior Associate Director, Providence Foundation. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.
Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
Responsible for managing and guiding under the direction of the Associate Vice President, Medical Affairs and the Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations, the foundation’s day to day operations, including Providence Foundation Board management, volunteer committees, fundraising events, and collaboration with major gift efforts.
Plays a pivotal role in supporting the foundation’s mission of advancing USA Health Providence Hospital by contributing to the strategic planning process, overseeing donor relations, and managing the successful execution of key initiatives.
Serves as the liaison to the foundation’s board, serving as the primary point person to the Providence Foundation Board, and overseeing volunteer committees.
Coordinates board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes. and follow-up actions. and engage board members and volunteers in fundraising, advocacy, and other support efforts.
Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of fundraising events for the foundation, developing event strategies that align with the foundation’s mission and donor interests, maximizing revenue generation.
Manages event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while achieving fundraising goals, and supervising event logistics, working closely with the Foundation Events and Annual Giving Manager, as well as team members within USA Health Medical Affairs Development to ensure successful outcomes.
Cultivates and maintains relationships with key donors, sponsors, and stakeholders, and collaborates closely with the Director of Major Gifts far USA Health and others in Development leadership to integrate major gift strategies into the foundation’s initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach to donor engagement.
Participates in donor stewardship activities, ensuring that donors feel valued and engaged, and participate in the development and implementation of the foundation’s strategic plan.
Supports the annual and grateful giving programs ensuring their success and integration with other foundation efforts.
Monitors and evaluates the success of fundraising initiatives, providing regular reports to the AVP of Medical Affairs Development, and supervises the Foundation Events and Annual Giving Manager, providing guidance, mentoring, end performance evaluations.
Fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
Works closely with other team members within Medical Affairs Development and overall USA Development and Alumni Relations.
Works closely with USA Health Providence Hospital leadership to identify key strategic hospital initiatives to maximize the success of all Providence Foundation efforts to advance USA Health Providence Hospital.
Regular and prompt attendance.
Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
Related duties as required.
