Ledgent is partnering with a growing client in the insurance industry to find an Accounting & Billing Specialist to add to their team. This role is a permanent position, paying between $60,000-65,000/annually while offering wonderful benefits! The office is located in Southington, CT with a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:
Preparing premium & reinsurance calculations
Preparing investment & AR roll forwards
Financial statements & regulatory filings
Bank reconciliations
Customer billing - processing online via ACH & credit card payments
Review & resolve escheat balances
Partner with underwriting & claims department to resolve issues
Additional projects assigned by CFO as needed
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in BOTH accounting & billing
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is considered a plus!
Insurance industry experience is required (P&C, health, life)
