Job Description: GDH is hiring a Senior Android Developer to work with our client, a large banking company.
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. -Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. -Experience with Git or other version control systems. -Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. -Understanding of Android's design principles and interface guidelines. -Prior experience working in a financial institution, such as a bank, is preferred.
Responsibilities: -Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. -Integrate and manage Google and Samsung wallet functionalities. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. -Write unit tests to ensure robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. -Participate in code reviews and Agile sprint ceremonies. -Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Experience required: -Android Development: 3-5 years of experience in Android development. -Prior experience with Google Pay and Samsung Wallet SDKs is highly preferred. -Jetpack Compose: 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose. -Agile Environment: Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment. -Unit Testing: Proven experience adding and maintaining unit tests.
