RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Lead in Beaverton, OR.

Summary:
The nature of the work as a Scrum Lead, facilitating collaboration, removing obstacles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, is focused in ensuring the effective application of Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality products within established timelines. Responsibilities Include Scrum Facilitation.

Key Tasks:


  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices

  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration within and between cross-functional teams, promoting communication and transparency; Facilitate discussions and decision-making to drive project success

  • Obstacle Removal: Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder team progress; Proactively address challenges to ensure the team can deliver value without disruptions

  • Continuous Improvement: Instill a culture of continuous improvement within the team; Encourage reflection, feedback, and the adoption of best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness

  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics; Provide visibility into the team's performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog; Ensure alignment between business goals and development efforts







REQUIREMENTS:



  • 5 plus years of relevant experience

  • Agile leadership with both high performing/established teams and less experience/newer teams

  • Experience working with cross functional teams

  • JIRA

  • Communication skills

  • Record of pushing through barriers and resistance to achieve goals

Preferred Skills:

  • Miro, Lucidchart






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
