Andritz Metals USA Inc is seeking a qualified CNC lathe Machinist to join the Callery, PA Team.
First Shift 7:00am to 3:05pm Monday - Friday
Skills & Qualifications:
Receives drawings, sketches, instructions, etc. from the foreman or assistant foreman.
Sets up the late from drawings, sketches, or instructions. Selects proper feeds and speeds. Selects and installs proper tooling.
Loads rolls into the lathe manually or with the aid of the floor operated overhead crane. Positions and aligns as required.
Operates lathe in rough turning also finish turning, treading boring tracing, etc.
Uses measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc. Checks pieces as required.
Unloads finished rolls manually or with the aid of the floor operated overhead crane.
Grinds tools, as required.
Reports defective material or faulty equipment to the foreman or assistant Forman.
Performs minor repairs and assists in major repairs as required.
Lubricates equipment and maintains machine and area in a clean and orderly manner.
