Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Digital Delivery Lead with an engineering background to support delivery of transportation infrastructure projects.

With the support of one of the industry's leading technical and professional organizations, the Digital Delivery Lead will support a growing base of projects throughout Mobility business in the U.S. market. This opportunity needs a dynamic individual looking for career growth and offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow professionally, while working on a wide variety of engineering projects alongside dedicated and experienced staff.

You will help our internal and external clients optimize their engineering projects and businesses by being a part of project planning, information and process automation, management, and data analytics. You will play a crucial role in improving the performance of projects. You will also participate in the growth of clients and teams focused on delivering digital implementations.

Role accountabilities:


  • Oversees a group of digital delivery experts in the areas of Business Intelligence, Information Management and low code/no code programming.
  • Oversees development of full Business Intelligence and analytics lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, training, implementation, and support for Design and Construction projects
  • Collaborates and acts as a liaison between digital teams and other engineering departments/ subject matter experts to identify digital delivery opportunities and prioritizes them into feasible solutions
  • Participates in Design Thinking workshops with stakeholders
  • Assists in development of Information and Process Automation systems that include Management and Analytics initiatives including Building Information Management (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems platforms (BIM, Geo-Coded Data)
  • Focuses on and targets opportunities to improve and streamline processes and methodologies on engineering and planning projects
  • Translate data and analytics into meaningful insights by communicating complex technical concepts in an effective manner to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Oversees the development of dashboards and interactive visual reports using tools such as Power BI and Tableaux
  • Oversees the design, development, and implementation of custom apps for use internally and externally
  • Collaborates with UX team members to enhance the visualization/usability of dashboards, apps, and other tools to maximize the end user's experience
  • Performs design and code reviews to ensure that quality standards are being met, including testing and documentation of quality assurance
  • Leads and motivates technical teams in the implementation of business intelligence and analytics solutions to address client issues
  • Participate in the hiring and mentoring of team members

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, analytics, business intelligence, or relates fields
  • 10 or more years' business experience, including experience in delivering analysis and insights along with experience working with analytics in the engineering domain.
  • Knowledge of BIM and Engineering Design Platform (Bentley or Autodesk)

Key Skills:

  • Capability to drive innovation for engineering and management teams across the US Mobility business with new and existing clients
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze large volumes of data, create complex SQL queries, and manage resulting data.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative outlook

Analytics Skills: Python, SQL, T-SQL, DAX, Excel VBA, Data Modeling, Data Management

Preferred Qualifications


  • Professional Engineering Licensure
  • Experience working for Georgia DOT, Florida DOT, or Tennessee DOT

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $97600 - $146400. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
