Associate Utility Technician



Associate Utility Technicians must demonstrate boundaryless teamwork and assist in any function and/or role within the Biomed Center.



Responsibilities



  • Supports regulatory excellence, working closely with team members where teamwork, cooperation, and communication skills are crucial in a fast-paced environment. Ensures areas are clean to provide a safe and secure workplace. Cleans and disinfects biomedical devices. Flexible and willing to assist with Biomed Center demands. Responsible for meeting individual and department productivity goals.

  • Responsible for performing cleaning and disinfection operations on biomedical devices as well as general handling of the products. May be responsible for performing other duties in support of operations as directed by leadership. Associate Utility Technician must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (e.g., mask, gloves, and gown) for protection against potentially infectious materials.




Minimum Requirement



0-1 years of experience. May have vocational qualification.

  • Maintains compliance with all applicable standards (SOPs and work instructions) in performing job duties.

  • Good decision-making skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Well, organized with strong time management skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Biomed Center Team Members.

  • Ability to prioritize work.

  • Ability to remain flexible and respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on results.

  • Strong commitment to the McKesson i2Care and iLead principles.

  • Promotes a customer-patient centric culture.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • Ability to lift 50+lbs.
