This job will have the following responsibilities:
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company
Oversee the operations and development of the company's finance department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports
Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting
Qualifications
Bachelors' degree in Finance, or equivalent work experience
Ideally some experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum 7 years in accounting/finance
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, accounts payable and accounts receivable
