Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring an Agile Execution Director to lead a fast paced development organization tasked with application modernization using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
*This is a remote opportunity.
The Agile Execution Director will report to the Chief Engineer within the Systems Engineering Organization within the Office of Technology and will lead a team of up to 10 engineers. The ideal candidate will have prior Release Train Engineer (RTE) experience with knowledge of identifying and standing up new value streams, as well as coaching the Agile Release Train (ART).
This role includes screening and hiring additional members of the team, evaluating team member performance, and facilitating training to ensure each member has the skills necessary to perform their job as well as support the overall growth and experience of the team as a whole.
Job Description:
This role requires an experienced Agile Leader to fulfill the Release Train Engineer role for an Agile Release Train executing on a program implementing SAFe. Major responsibilities include facilitating ART events and coaching agile techniques that assist the team in delivering value. The RTE also serves as a project manager over the ART and focuses on ensuring ART commitments are met. This includes working with the development teams to determine if they will meet their iteration goals, understanding why something might not complete as planned, and helping mitigate issues preventing completion. Finally, this role facilitates horizontal and vertical communication across teams to identify any impediments that may prevent team progress while working mitigation plans as needed.

Salary range: $155,000 - $200,000 w/ up to 15% bonus potential
