Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of products. This role involves preparing shipments, inspecting incoming goods, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with carriers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and package products for shipment; generate necessary shipping documentation.
Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality; document any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and organize received goods.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with safety and company policies in all shipping and receiving activities.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree preferred
Shipping/receiving experience within Manufacturing industry preferred
Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle physical tasks.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
